Holy Crap…

I can not even begin to describe the torment that is poison ivy.

They should be using this stuff to interrogate terrorists.

To take my mind off the itching, I ate my way through an entire pan of Ghirardelli Ultimate Chocolate Brownies.

Unfortunately the distraction was only temporary. I’m itching again, and I’ve no doubt gained a pound.

I hate to mix medications, but since this appears to be something that chocolate can’t cure, I think I’m going to spend the afternoon with a bottle of vodka.

It’s bound to work eventually… and with fewer calories.

poor baby! Oak and Ivy Tecnu. even if you wash the clothes you were wearing, the oil stays FOREVER. Put a little of this in the wash and it takes it off. Wash your skin with and then use Iva rest for the itch and to stop spreading. Don’t let it go to long cuz then you will need a steroid. Good luck. these are the only 2 things that we have ever found to work and we have tried EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Cheryl >> Thanks for the tips. I did not know that it would stay on your clothes after laundering. Prolly too late now. haha.

But, I assure you, this is my first, and last experience with poison ivy. I have sworn off going outside ever again.

Vodka probably isn’t great on the calories either, though, you know? ;) For me, it would be a toss up: vodka or chocolate? I’d probably just mix the two: some kind of vodka and chocolate concoction.

I think I’d wait awhile after the brownies to try the vodka. Wouldn’t want to add getting sick from that combo to your list of ills.

    And stay away from Nachos.

My partner had a particularly disgusting evening after following a chocolate tini with nachos.

Oh no! You need more chocolate. I am so sorry to hear you have ‘the ivy’. That sucks! I hope you get better really, really soon.
